Makerspace for Ejura-Sekyeredumase YM Lab-3 Completed

TECHAiDE has successfully installed another Makerspace. This time for Yamoransa Model Lab – 3 (YM Lab 3) in the Ejura-Sekyeredumase Municipal.

TECHAiDE’s Makerspaces are created to provide hands-on, creative ways to encourage school children (Basic and Secondary Schools) to design, experiment, build and invent as they deeply engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The project is an extension to all Yamoransa Model Laboratories previously installed across the country with EDULab Technology, one of TECHAiDE’s education software programmes.

A typical TECHAiDE Makerspace includes augmented and virtual reality, 3D printing and robotics. It is not solely a science lab, computer lab, library or art room, but it contains elements found in all of these familiar spaces. Therefore, it is designed to accommodate a wide range of activities, tools and materials. Diversity and cross-pollination of activities are critical to the design, making and exploration process, and they are what sets TECHAiDE Makerspaces apart from other project-based learning.

It is our hope that the new YM Lab 3 Makerspace will be the ideal place where young people have the opportunity to explore their own interests; learn to use tools and materials, both physical and virtual; and develop creative projects.

Give your school or community a strategic advantage and order a cutting edge Makerspace from TECHAiDE today.
