Gomoa Brofo, Ghana – From May 12 to May 14, 2025, TECHAiDE, in partnership with CAMFED Ghana, Ghana Society for Education Technology (GSET), and STEMAIDE, led a transformative Tier 1 Teacher Training under the Education Innovation Labs (Ednolabs) Project. Hosted in the Gomoa West District, the training empowered 32 dedicated teachers from rural and underserved communities to harness the power of digital tools using ASANKA, TECHAiDE’s innovative offline Learning Management System.

From Accra to Gomoa Brofo, the Ednolabs Project is not just spreading across Ghana—it’s creating a radical shift in educational equity, breaking barriers in access, infrastructure, and quality.

Training Highlights:Day 1 (May 12, 2025):
 The event opened with over 45 attendees, including teachers, headteachers, GES officers, and local dignitaries. Frank Etrue Hayford, District Director of Education (GES – Gomoa West), delivered a compelling speech on how digital tools can improve BECE performance and unlock student potential. His words set the tone for a high-impact experience.

Nana Anaful III, the Chief of Gomoa Brofo, pledged full support for sustaining the ICT Lab. His leadership demonstrated real community ownership and signaled long-term commitment to the Lab’s success.

Day 2 (May 13, 2025):
 Hands-on sessions guided by TECHAiDE and GSET facilitators equipped teachers from Gomoa Akyemfo with practical skills to use ASANKA in their classrooms. Fairuza Abdul-Rashid of CAMFED Ghana emphasized the urgent need for digital equity in education, reinforcing the mission of Ednolabs.

Day 3 (May 14, 2025):
 Participants engaged in collaborative group work, digital practice sessions, and curriculum integration strategies. The event closed with certification and renewed commitment from all participants to champion digital transformation in their schools.

By delivering offline digital content directly to classrooms, it removes traditional barriers like internet access and device costs, putting powerful learning tools into the hands of teachers and students who need them most.
