Kyebi, Eastern Region – June 10th, 2025: TECHAiDE has successfully concluded the Ednolabs Tier 1 Teacher Training for the Kyebi cohort, held from June 9th to 10th, 2025. This impactful two-day session focused on strengthening digital literacy and enhancing teaching capacity among educators in Ghana’s Eastern Region.
The training brought together over 25 passionate teachers and education staff from Kyebi and surrounding communities. With a strong emphasis on practical, hands-on learning, participants were guided through a series of engaging modules that introduced them to core concepts in digital literacy, including navigating educational platforms, using offline digital tools, and adopting technology-driven teaching strategies.
Central to the training was the ASANKA device, TECHAiDE’s flagship offline digital learning solution. TECHAiDE facilitators led focused sessions that empowered teachers to integrate ASANKA into their classrooms, enabling access to interactive learning materials regardless of internet connectivity.
The program was further elevated by key visits from education stakeholders. On Day 1, we were honored to host the Municipal Director of Education, who addressed the cohort with motivating words and expressed full support for the initiative. Additionally, a representative from UNICEF Ghana joined the session, reaffirming the broader commitment to inclusive and equitable education through technology.
This training marks yet another milestone in the Ednolabs Project’s mission to bridge the digital divide in underserved areas, ensuring that no teacher—or student—is left behind in Ghana’s digital transformation journey.
