The official kickoff event took place on Wednesday, 16th April 2025, at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra. The event brought together distinguished stakeholders from Ghana’s education and innovation ecosystem, including representatives from the Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service, Ghana Society for Education and Technology (GSET), KOICA, and the Mastercard Foundation. The ceremony was further dignified by the presence of HRM Prof. Notse Nii Nortey Owuo IV, Osu Mantse, who reaffirmed the importance of developing authentic African solutions to African challenges, particularly in shaping the future of learning in Ghana and across the continent
The Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship is a continent-wide acceleration program designed to empower transformative EdTech ventures. Through this initiative, participating companies such as TECHAiDE will receive tailored mentorship, technical assistance, business and financial support, and guidance all aimed at enabling scale, sustainability, and meaningful impact.
