On Thursday, 13th October 2022, over 500 students were introduced to innovative educational technology solutions that potentially improves their digital skills as well as develop their Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) capabilities.
The students who were mainly from over ten Senior High institutions in Accra were participants of the just ended 2022 Youth Conference organized by Databank Foundation.
Among the innovative solutions that they experienced were TECHAiDE’s flagship ASANKA device and Makerspace.
TECHAiDE was an exhibitor at the conference which attracted students from various Senior High institutions including Accra Wesley Girls, Kinbu Secondary Technical, Labone Senior High School and Accra High School.
Kwame, a student from Kinbu Senior High said he was excited to see and experience first hand some of the components of the Makerspace including the virtual reality headset.
TECHAiDE is a Ghanaian company that has been working in Africa since 2011 using ICTs to improve Education, support Youth Development, and facilitate Health Delivery.
