Accra, Ghana: On 18th September 2024, TECHAiDE, alongside key EdTech and research partners, officially launched the Education Innovation Labs (Ednolabs) Project. The event took place during a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing at the Alliance Française, Accra, marking the beginning of a groundbreaking initiative aimed at transforming education in Ghana.

A consortium of partners—including CAMFED Ghana, Centre for National Distance Learning and Open Schooling (CENDLOS), Ghana Society for Education Technology (GSET), UNICEF Ghana, STEMAIDE, MEST Africa, Helping Africa Foundation, IMPLEMENTERS, and TECHAiDE— together came to ensure that the Ednolabs project is underpinned by evidence-based, data-driven research.

The Ednolabs Project focuses on two key goals:

  1. Conducting research-driven educational enhancements, aiming to positively impact over 10,000 students and train more than 1,900 teachers across Ghana.
  2. Establishing 20 modern educational labs equipped with offline ASANKA technology across 12 regions in Ghana, creating innovative learning environments that bridge the digital divide.
