On September 10, 2024, TECHAiDE hosted a transformative Education Innovation Labs Working Session at CAMFED Ghana in East Legon, marking a significant milestone for the Ednolabs initiative. This successful event brought together key project partners, including MEST Africa, CENDLOS, GES, GSET, CAMFED, STEMAIDE, Implementers, and UNICEF Ghana. The session began with a warm welcome from CAMFED Ghana’s Country Director and was power-packed with keynote speeches from Nana Gyamfi Adwabour, Executive Director of CENDLOS, and Prince Agyeman Duah, Director of Schools and Instructions at GES, who shared valuable insights on advancing education. Thomas Eghan Ekuban, Head of Business Operations at TECHAiDE, provided an overview of the project’s goals, geographical coverage, and key components, followed by detailed insights from our team on the teacher training program and digital tools like ASANKA and EDULab.

One of the major highlights was Dr. Faiza Omar’s presentation on the research component, showcasing the rigorous methodology and impact evaluation essential to Ednolabs’ success. The session continued with dynamic breakout discussions to refine the project’s research, training, and technology aspects, which were then summarized by the partners. Our CEO, Kafui Prebbie, closed the session by outlining the next steps, including the MoU signing and project launch scheduled for September 18, 2024. The event concluded with a networking lunch, strengthening relationships and setting the stage for continued collaboration. As we move forward, we are excited about the Ednolabs initiative’s potential to drive innovation and transform education through technology and partnership.
